Synopsis:  Destination Mars encapsulates space exploration history by leaving the viewer with the question of what's next. Space programs have garnered less attention since the United States’ success from their Apollo missions, though there is hope. Present-day technology entrepreneur Elon Musk has dedicated his company SpaceX toward developing a reusable rocket system lowering the costs of flying into orbit. One of the companies goals is taking our species interplanetary starting with colonizing our nearest habitable planet, Mars, and continue exploring the final frontier of our Universe. Destination Mars’ goal is to leave the viewer encouraged to contemplate our history, and question our future while seeking within ourselves the always eager explorer.
